What makes this the best water ozonator value on the market? 1) The included air dryer. Unless you feed your ozonator oxygen from an oxygen tank or oxygen concentrator, you need to utilize an air dryer. The humidity content in the air reduces the amount and quality of ozone that can be made while making unhealthy by-products. Humidity also damages the inside of an ozone tube over time. The air dryer on this ozonator (A $30 value) ensures the ozone you make does not put impurities into the water which is what you want if you plan on ingesting the ozonated water you make. 2) Stainless Steel silicone hose barb. All sub $200 ozonators on the market feature a non stainless-steel barb, usually plastic, that breaks down over time (turns yellow and cracks). The designers and manufacturers of those products are making a disposable machine. This is machine was designed in the USA with USA standards. We like things designed to last that don’t put impurities into the water. Which leads us to # 3). Made in the USA glass bubbler / lifetime warranty. The bubblers sold with other ozonators are made with impure substances that leach chemicals into the water. Don’t take our word for it. Place your non made in the USA bubbler in some distilled water for a day then test the water. See what you discover. We did. We were shocked. That caused us to seek a US manufacturer that utilizes ozone proof parts. Our white glass (silica) bubblers use an ozone proof barb and are manufactured with binders that are also ozone resistant and won’t add chemicals or impurities into the water. We also use US food grade silicone tubing as we’ve found it’s of a higher quality.
The unit itself if portable and comes in a foam box you can keep for travel. It features a digital display with easy to use buttons. With the push of a button you can program this unit to produce ozone for anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes (or less). Also. The silica beads in the air dryer are rechargeable. They change colors when they’re saturated with humidity, no longer capable of drying the air. Drying them simply involves placing them in the microwave for a few seconds (exact amount of seconds depends on the wattage of your microwave, defer to instructions for drying)
The quartz tube that creates the ozone is rated at 500 mg/h, same as the medical insufflation unit we sell. So yes, you can use this unit for insufflations, however, if you want to do that, it’s best if you remove the air dryer and feed the unit oxygen to create ‘medical grade ozone’ from oxygen. Many of our customers in the past (We’ve sold this unit on-off for the past 15 years) have used this unit for insufflations with great success using only the air dryer. However. oxygen is better. If you have access to it, use it! NOTE: This unit does have a rheostat that allows you to turn the ozone concentration down a little for say rectal insufflations. At ‘full power’ using the supplied air dryer, this unit produces 80 gamma of ozone which is a little high for insufflations. We do not offer any medical advice but if you confer with an ozone doctor, they’d advise you to turn it down a little if using this machine for making ozone to fill insufflation bags for rectal or vaginal ozone insufflations.
