Shock Treatment Consultation That Comes With Every Forever Ozone Machine

Every machine we sell comes with something you won’t find in an Amazon listing: a one-on-one safety consultation with me. It’s included with your purchase; it takes about 30 minutes, and it’s the best way I know to make sure your first shock treatment is a safe one that actually works.

I’m Mike Franco. I’ve been selling ozone machines since 2010.  Before that. I sold air purifiers and mold test kits. I even worked for an environmental engineering firm in Vegas performing IAQ testing. And later. Had a business that performed shock treatments. So that’s 28-plus years of experience, at your service.

Forever Ozone has served well over 20,000 customers since 2010. Over those years, I’ve learned that the machine is only half the job. The other half is knowing how to use it.

Why We Include a Consultation

A commercial-grade ozone generator is an industrial tool, not an air purifier. It is made for shock treatments of unoccupied spaces only. No people, pets or plants can be inside during a treatment, and the space has to be aired out thoroughly before anyone goes back in.

Most problems I hear about come from skipped steps, not knowing how long to run the machine (most overdo it), or not knowing how to properly air things out. Especially when second-hand smoke, smoke damage, or mold is involved. Someone runs the unit before cleaning, sizes it wrong for the space, or goes back in too soon. A short call before your first treatment heads off those mistakes.

What the Call Covers

We’ll go over your space and your job, and I’ll walk you through:

  • Sizing the machine to the space
  • Prep and cleaning before treatment
  • Sealing the space and posting a warning sign on the door
  • Using the timer and run times for your job
  • Airing out the space afterward
  • When it’s safe to go back in
  • Storing the machine between jobs

Questions Customers Bring to the Call

These are some of the questions we answer on the consultation:

  • Why does the odor come back after the first treatment?
  • How do professional remediation contractors clear the ozone out after a treatment?
  • Should I paint over walls that hold smoke odor, and when?
  • Do enzyme cleaners help, and where do they fit in?
  • How many treatments will my job need?
  • What’s different about secondhand smoke and fire damage jobs?

Every space is different, so the answers depend on your situation. That’s what the call is for.

California Buyers

California has strict rules on ozone generators. Our machines are sold under the industrial-use exemption for remediation of unoccupied spaces, such as smoke and fire odor, mold odor, vehicles, rentals, and property turnovers.

California buyers get the same thing every buyer gets: a 30-minute expert safety consultation, included with purchase. It’s up to you whether to call. Either way, the machine is for empty spaces only. You can read more on our California ozone generator page.

Wherever You Are

Wherever you live, the consultation is included with your machine, and I strongly recommend it, especially for first-time users and for secondhand smoke or fire damage jobs. Those two are tricky. See Secondhand Smoke or Fire Damage? Call Before You Remediate.

A Few Ground Rules

  • Ozone shock treatment is for unoccupied spaces only. Never run it with people, pets or plants inside.
  • We make no medical or health claims about ozone.
  • Follow all state and local rules where you live.
