Push down on the tabs, the ozone machine turns on for 30 minutes. Left up, it stays off. Use this 30-minute interval timer to have your ozone generator turn on while you’re away. One hour on one hour off works best. (ozone lingers for 40 minutes)
Using a timer for a safe shock treatment
A timer lets you start and stop your ozone generator without entering the treated space. Set it up, leave the space with everyone (people, pets, and plants) out, and let the treatment run. When it ends, stay out for the recommended time and air the space out before going back in. Ozone is for unoccupied spaces only, never for breathing. See our shock treatment advice.

not sure how to use it…

Tab up = says off. Tab down = turns on. The switch on the top activates the timer feature or bypasses the timer and just
turns on the unit.
